As part of your responsibilities in this role, you will be tasked with delivering agile, customized, and scalable end-to-end solutions that encompass equipment, system, and platform support governance for technical authority outputs. This will involve taking into consideration specifications, standards, legislation, and expertise to ensure the delivery of effective solutions. You will be working on the Type 45 destroyer and the Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carrier.

This role would suit a former Navy Design Engineer with experience working on Engineering Systems looking for a role that provides unrivalled progression and training.

THE PERSON:

* Design Engineer
* Experience with Naval / Marine Engineering Systems
* Commutable to Bristol

THE ROLE:

* Conduct technical investigations and evaluations of system information, contributing to the selection of best methodologies in the development of design and safety documentation.
* Provide technical guidance to engineers and support staff, review and check design deliverables, and perform design and safety analyses
* Ensure proper configuration management, planning, estimating, and task monitoring. Represent project teams, lead on-site visits, and provide guidance and leadership to contract staff as needed.
