Are you an experienced sales professional with a knowledge of the oil and gas and power generation industries looking to work for a market leader of specialist products, services and engineering solutions trusted by some of the biggest commercial and industrial clients in the world?

Would you like to progress your career with a globally known and respected business where you will become an expert with an industry leader in the sale and rental of precision machining equipment and solutions to tier 1 companies working with refineries, oil and gas and power generation companies.
In this pivotal role you will be using your excellent sales skills to the linchpin between key clients and accounts, the engineering team, regional and international management, and new business’. You will be responsible for client liaison, collating reports to feed to the Directors and Managers, managing accounts and driving sales targets nationally.

On offer is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales Manager to work closely with installation companies, consultants, specifiers and distributors supported by an internal sales and marketing team to help grow the business.
You will be an excellent communicator with great presentations skills, product knowledge, professionalism and confidence.

The role:

  • Developing sales plans and budgets
  • Working remotely with travel to the head office in Scotland and to clients sites
  • Responsible for managing project delivery from ‘cradle to grave’ for Clients, working alongside the General Manager for relevant site
  • Participate in proposal and tender development
  • Selecting and evaluating new customers & sales contract reviews
  • Representing the company and its products to clients in England and Wales
  • Evaluating and reporting on sales performance
  • Troubleshooting and technical support services on all products
  • Travel to customer sites to assist with setup/fault diagnosis as and when required
  • Frequent overnight stays
  • Product training for installers, sales team, partners and distributors

The person:

  • Technical sales experience ideally in the field of “Mechanical Services” and Specialist Engineering Solutions
  • Technical engineering qualification or relevant Diploma
  • Established contacts within O&G operators and Teir 1 suppliers
