Are you a maintenance engineer with experience in the steel industry looking to join a well-established company that offers enhanced holidays and a flexible shift pattern?
This company has seen significant growth, now employing over a hundred people. They are a major steel stock holder and processor specialising in strip mill products. There has been a vast amount of investment in the company over the past few years, further solidifying its strong position in the market.
This role will see the suitable candidate carry out reactive and planned maintenance. You will be expected use your mechanical and electrical knowledge to maintain the efficiency of the production line.

The Role:
- Monday – Friday 6am-2pm (3 weeks a month)
- Monday – Thursday 12am-10pm (1 week a month) – afternoon shift paid overtime
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance
- Complete planned checks from a schedule – daily and monthly
- Work individually and as a team to solve electrical faults on the machines
The Person:
- Proven experience with Slitting and Decoiling lines
- Proven experience in multi skilled maintenance engineering
