Are you a Mechanical Engineer from a Building Services background looking for a varied and autonomous role within a multi-disciplinary employee owned consultancy who work with major blue-chip clients and offer ongoing progression all the way to Directorship?

This company are a specialist Building Services consultancy, who work with a broad range of clients and work primarily in the Industrial Sector. Since their establishment they have seen continually grown to the point they now have over 35 employees, due to this growth they are now looking for a new Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

In this varied consultancy role, you will liaise closely with the clients, directors and other departments as you oversee design processes, provide technical support on site and mentor junior staff members. You will attend client meetings to ensure all products are meeting their requirements, in addition to writing reports and being the go-to specialist on projects..

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a Building Services background looking for an autonomous consultancy role where you can use your specialist skillset to provide technical support to the design team within a company known for looking after their staff who offer a bonus, company vehicle and progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Attend client meetings and liaise on progress
• Working with design team on product specification
• Project work
• Technical support and mentoring of more junior staff members
• Provide detailed reports and inspections , risk assessments and technical advice to customers
• Office based with travel to client sites

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineer or similar
• Building Services background
• Commutable to Birmingham
