Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience overseeing a team looking to progress your career within a long-standing and prestigious company, offering a technically challenging role with plenty of autonomy and a wide variety of work?

On offer is a great opportunity further both your management and design experience by leading a small team and working hands-on, where you will be involved in a variety of projects within a tight-knit design team.

In this role you will be working in the office designing a range of mechanical testing equipment and models for the aerospace industry. This role is a 50/50 split between hands-on designing and overseeing a small team of designers. You will be working on Catia V5, training can be given on this if needed.

This large, growing aviation company have been highly regarded for decades, gaining repeat business with large clientele such as Rolls Royce, Airbus, and Boeing. They are now integrating the business into one of the largest aerospace companies in the world, continuing their growth into the distant future.

This role would suit a Design Engineer with Team Leader experience looking to join a progressive and innovative company where they will become an integral part of the business.

The Role:

• Designing models and test equipment using Catia V5
• 50/50 split between designing and overseeing team
• Training, organising resources, and managing the design process
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:20pm, 38 hours a week

The Person:

• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Team Leader, Supervisor or similar experience
• Experience with DFM
