Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar from a Steelworks background looking to become the go-to expert within an innovative Engineering Service Company who will give you the opportunity to spearhead the department and design the future of the company?

On offer is the exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company as part of a small team, specializing in bespoke sheet metal, fabrication and engineering solutions. For 20 years, this company has amassed a wealth of experience and expertise in their industry, resulting in a cost-effective service to the highest industry standards. Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, they provide services for food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as water treatments and air and duct ventilation systems.

On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include using AutoCAD to complete project and product drawings, ensuring technical construction information is kept up to date and visiting clients sites to measure installations. In any given week, there are also opportunities for in house training and working alongside the engineers.

The Role:

• Measuring and designing schematics for sheet mental using CAD
• Working with technicians and engineers to see projects to completion
• Liaising with customers on site visits

The Person:

• Background in steelworks and/or fabrication
• HNC in Engineering or equivalent
• Commutable to Newcastle-under-Lyme
