Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar specialising in special purpose machinery looking for the opportunity to become one of the go-to Design Engineers within a nationally renowned business, working on highly technical packaging machinery, made bespoke to client needs, offering the chance to progress to a senior design position or even management?

Are you looking to work as a key part of a small design team to see projects through from concept to completion, reporting directly to the design manager, in a varied and exciting role working with blue-chip clients?

On offer is an opportunity to join the design team of a Special Purpose Machinery manufacturer that supplies the medical packaging sector. You will assist in the creation of a Design Specification from client requirements, aid in the prototyping of concepts, creation of drawings in Solidworks, and provide engineering solutions for any complex problems that may arise within the design process from start to finish.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing special-purpose machinery that is looking to progress within an exciting company where no two days are the same.

The Role:

• Assisting with the design process from concept to commission
• Aiding in the prototyping and testing of products
• Finalising detailed drawings of machinery

The Person:

• Mechanical design background
• Special Purpose Machinery design background
• Solidworks or similar 3D CAD
