Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, with Solidworks experience, looking to join a rapidly growing team where you will have excellent career prospects, whilst benefitting from the training and development support of a highly skilled lead engineer, capitalising on his skills and experience to advance your own, where you will be in an integral role for a rapidly growing deisign to manufacture of specialist tipping trailers, and other heavy automotive equipment?

Do you have a design background, looking to work for a highly innovative company, where you will work on a range of high quality, interesting projects for the repair and manufacture of specialist heavy duty automotive equipment, liaising closely with other Senior Managers to support Production?

On offer is the opportunity to step into a highly autonomous role, working on a diverse range of projects / designs. You will be responsible for producing drawings and designs for the production of new trailers, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and FEA analysis for chassis frames and components. You will work on delivering a range of technical projects, ensuring products are compliant and fit for purpose. You will also work with the wider group, which specialises in the production of high quality stainless steel machinery and components for custom cars and racecars, ensuring best practice is maintained across the board.

The role:

• Produce detailed drawings and designs for trailers, including for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, fabrication processes
• FEA for chassis frames and components
• Liaise with Production and the Workshop team to support the production and repair processes
