The company is a leading manufacturer of sustainable heating and energy solutions, supplying to both domestic and commercial clients, with products to make their homes greener and cheaper. Due to their rapid and sustained growth, the Research & Development team at this company are looking for a Design Engineer to lead a small and dedicated team, designing ground source heat pumps. You will also take responsibility for creating your own CAD drawings, improving upon the current product range, and mentoring junior employees.

The Role:

• Carry out mechanical design of products and equipment (primarily heat pumps)
• Lead a small design team, mentoring junior employees
• Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing
• Innovate and problem-solve to ensure issues the R&D team face are dealt with

• Mechanical Design Engineer
• Any supervisory experience
