Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Heavy Engineering background looking for a varied and challenging role that offers exposure to lots of varied projects, working with a multitude of companies of different company sizes and industries?
In this role, you will undertake design responsibilities from concept to detail, including documentation and calculations. You will contribute to the production of detailed design documentation for client appraisal, manufacture, and installation by third parties. Emphasis is placed on ensuring quality, safety, reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency while collaborating with various disciplines within and outside the team.
This company is a tight-knit company specializing in mechanical engineering, from project management, concept discussions, and site surveys. After building up a solid reputation within the industry, they work with some of the most well-known companies in aiding their industrial plant design, specifically bulk materials handling and processing of powders and liquids.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Heavy Engineering background looking for lots of exposure to different industries and variety in their work.
THE ROLE
* Design process from concept to detail.
* Production of detailed design documentation, including 3D models, 2D sketches, and manufacturing drawings.
* Preparation of supporting documentation, such as user manuals and certification dossiers.
* Focus on quality, safety, reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
* Collaboration with other disciplines within the team and externally.
THE PERSON
* Mechanical Design Engineer background
* Heavy Engineering Experience
* Experinece bulk materials handling and processing of powders and liquids preferred but not essential
* Based near Chesterfield
