Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in designing military vehicles / aircraft or similar, looking to work for a growing aviation business that will provide industry training and the opportunity to progress your career by leading a team of Design Engineers to maintain vintage World War II aircraft?
On offer is the opportunity to work for a company founded in 1987 by a passion for historically significant aircraft. This business maintains and overhauls these legacy vehicles for private clients and is looking to take on more Mechanical Design Engineers to facilitate a growing work load.
This role will center around design work using Cad software to create solutions and modify current designs to keep a variety of vintage planes in good condition. You will also assist with compliance verification for designs and liaise with private clients to understand their specific requirements and needs.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in designing military vehicles / aircraft or similar who wants to take on the challenge of working with classic aviation vehicles in a growing company that will provide industry specific training and the opportunity to progress your career into management positions.
The Role
- Design solutions using CAD packages
- Work within the design team maintaing legacy aircraft
