On offer is the opportunity to become an integral part of the manufacture and design team whilst working closely with the MD and Senior Management team, working on an array of exciting projects and ultimately having a direct impact on the customer and agriculture industry.

You will be working with a high degree of independence on complex custom design projects from conception through to completion, detailing specifications and BOM’s and ensuring regular customer interaction to ensure key milestones are achieved.

This role would suit an ambitious and forward-thinking Mechanical Design Engineer, looking to create impact and work on cutting-edge projects with aspirations to grow and develop within a prestigious business.

The Role

• Preparing design briefs and detailed specification
• Communicating effectively with customers and Senior Management regarding customer enquiries and new project concepts
• Working with Inventor 3D CAD software, 3D structural stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Managing projects from conception through to completion and ensuring key milestones are met
• Becoming a technical specialist on existing products and offering clients the best solutions to their lifting challenges

The Person

• Experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
• Degree OR HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience using Cad Inventor and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
