Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to step into a highly autonomous and senior level position for a renowned aerospace company, offering a variety of technically challenging work where you will be recognised as a technical expert at what you do?

In this office-based role you will be designing a range of mechanical testing equipment and models for the aerospace industry. This will include performing stress analysis and load calculations, creating reports, and reporting directly to the Team Leader with plenty of autonomy given to manage your day.
This large, growing aviation company have been highly regarded for decades, gaining repeat business with large clientele such as Rolls Royce, Airbus, and Boeing. They are now integrating the business into one of the largest aerospace companies in the world, continuing their growth into the distant future.
This role would suit a Design Engineer with looking to be recognised as a technical specialist within the department for a highly reputable and profitable aerospace company.
The Role:
- Designing models and test equipment using Catia V5
- Performing stress analysis and load calculations
- Working autonomously with minimal direction or supervision
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:20pm, 38 hours a week
