In this role you will be at the forefront of innovative ideas, playing an integral part in the companies specialist projects within moulding, tooling and precision engineering. Working on bespoke projects cradle to grave, you will work closely on client specifications, liaising with them, as well as the production and manufacturing teams.
This well-established company is expanding and is looking to bring on a new Design Engineer to its tight-knit team. They are a market-leading manufacturing business that produces components for a number of sectors. Off the back of recent success they are looking towards a bright and profitable future.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with proficiency in Solidworks or similar, looking for a varied role, with technical progression and the opportunity to play a key part in a highly regarded company.
The Role:
- Designing for customer specifications, from concept to completion
- Shadowing Design Manager and liaising with other departments, whilst learning on the job
- Working autonomously on projects
The Person:
- HNC or a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Previously worked as a Design Engineer within manufacturing or similar
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar
- Based local, or happy to relocate to the area
