Are you an M&E Design Engineer from a BMS / HVAC / Commercial Building Systems background looking for a varied consultancy role that provides the opportunity to upskill yourself in a new area and make an essential impact on a fast-expanding yet tight-knit company who provide a clear progression structure into senior roles?

This company are a specialist design and M&E consultancy who work with a broad client base nationwide, primarily Commercial Properties in London. They are experiencing a period of rapid growth and are looking to further grow their tight-knit team of Consultants.

This varied consultancy role will see you responsible for specialist design work and training to upskill yourself in a new sector followed see you undertaking a range of surveys, inspections and tender reports as you work primarily in office with occasional client visitation – 1x per week maximum. You will be working closely with the Director as you assess M&E and maintenance contracts in addition to other consultancy related works.

This role would suit a Design Engineer or similar from an M&E / BMS / HVAC background looking to work on a range of specialist Commercial projects in a varied consultancy role offering a clear progression structure through the company as they develop.
The Role:

• Provide support and critique building services designs
• Provide detailed reports, risk assessments and technical advice to customers and recommend works to contractors
• Undertake M&E surveys and inspections to assist clients
• Creation of M&E asset lists
• Tender reports to clients and re-tender M&E contracts
• Cost assessment within Lifecycle plans
• Design, specification & project management
• Office based with some client visitation- primarily in London

The Person:

• Design Engineer or similar
• HVAC / M&E / Building Systems background
• Based in Bristol- happy to undertake occasional site visitation in London
