Are you a Maintenance / Facilities Manager from an Engineering background looking for the rare and exciting opportunity to play an integral part in ensuring the Maintenance of the Kings Official Residences as you work closely with senior leadership and autonomously oversee projects?

Based in Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews, St James Palace and Kensington Palace, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the buildings making sure work is planned and delivered accordingly.

This role would suit a Maintenance / Facilities Manager experienced in managing tender and bid processes. On a day-to-day basis you will undertake end-to-end management of a range of works, varying in scope and scale.

This will include: planning; preparation of specifications, schedules of work and simple working drawings; management of the tender process; appointment of consultants and contractors; supervision through to completion and settlement of final accounts.

The Role:
* To liaise closely with Property Section colleagues to ensure that work is appropriately co-ordinated
* 37.5 hour week (Flexible start / finish times)
* Management of the tender process
* Contractor Management
* Bid Processes
* Management of statutory compliance and risk management

The Person:
* Maintenance / Facilities Manager
* Experienced in Supervision of day-to-day M&E maintenance
* Engineering background / qualification
* Looking to work in Royal Residences
