Do have a mechanical, agricultural or automotive background and want to maintain a specialist fleet of forklifts, covering customers and call-outs in the local area on a flexible and independent schedule, building on your skills and adding to your expertise with additional training?
The company are a well-established Forklift provider and cover a wide range of services, including hiring, selling and repairs and even boast their own fleet of branded Forklifts, providing a training service with their own in-house Training Academy. With a well-known customer base and a high demand for their specialist services, the company are now looking for a new Maintenance Engineer to take over day-to-day workshop and site work, carrying out routine servicing and maintenance as well as covering breakdowns and providing technical assistance.
This role would suit an engineer with a mechanical, automotive or plant background, looking to take on an independent and key role within a supportive and dynamic team, with the scope to progress and build on their expertise through additional qualifications and training.
THE ROLE:
- Conduct maintenance and servicing as required
- Responding to breakdowns
- Assisting customers and providing technical support
- Work as part of a team as needed
THE PERSON:
- Has a Plant / Mechanical or Automotive background
