Are you from a logistics or shipping background looking to step into an interesting and varied role with plenty of on the job training to become a specialist in a niche market within a friendly and dynamic working environment?

In this varied role you will be working within a close-knit team involved with importing and exporting, customs issues, auditing and customer screening, and tariff coding. Working in a team of 3, you will be given continuous support and training in every aspect of the role.

This manufacturing company are leaders in their specialist sector, with hundreds of employees worldwide and a turnover of £80 million. They pride themselves on their extremely low turnover of staff due to their family-feel working environment.

This role would suit someone with experience in logistics or shipping looking to move into a dynamic and varied role where they can improve their skill set.

The Role:

• Ensuring trade compliance, mostly dealing with importing
• Involved with customs issues, tariff coding, export queries, and auditing suppliers
• Continuous training in the office through shadowing
• Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4pm, finish at 3:30pm on Friday, 37 hours a week

The Person:

• Logistics, shipping or similar background
• Looking for training within Trade Compliance
