On a daily basis you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a manufacturing engineering team to ensure effective manufacturing within their electro-mechanical environment. It involves enhancing core manufacturing engineering processes, creating manuals, and implementing KPIs to align with operational and business objectives. Additionally, the role includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with other departments to develop a manufacturing technology roadmap, and building robust relationships throughout the organization.

This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer / Supervisor with mechanical & electrical experience or similar looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity to progress into the Defence industry. THE ROLE:
* Lead and manage a manufacturing engineering team to meet departmental objectives and maintain high team morale.
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes, creating manuals and work instructions, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for data-driven improvement.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborate on a manufacturing technology roadmap, and build strong cross-organizational relationships while also supporting company-wide objectives, training, and adherence to policies.
