Are you a Trainee or Junior Civil Surveyor from an earthworks or groundworks background, looking for an exciting new role with a company that will invest in your capabilities, offering extensive training, clear progression, and a company car?
On offer is the opportunity to secure a position within a long-standing and successful construction company, who will provide the correct support to enable your success to progress to a Surveyor level.
In this office and site based role you will be visiting sites across the Southwest and Wales. Your job will involve using Trimble machine control systems to survey map boundaries and features and levels of sites, whilst working alongside the Engineering Manager and Site Manager.
This long-standing and well-established company has been running for over 70 years and remains a family run business specialising in earthworks, earthmoving, crushing and screening, quarrying and training. Operating a large and diverse fleet of moving vehicles within such industries as commercial, residential development, major infrastructure, Environment Agency flood defence and rail.
This role would suit a a CAD Technician, Surveying Engineer or similar, from a construction background looking to kickstart their surveying career within a reputable company that will heavily invest in their development through ongoing training and progression opportunities.
The Role:
- Surveying features, maps and levels of a site
- Working with Trimble machine control systems
- Split between office and on site, across the Southwest and Wales
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
The Person:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying or similar
- AutoCAD experience
- Looking to become a Surveyor
