Are you a time-served Engineering Apprentice or similar from a Plant, Hydraulic, HGV or Armed Forces background looking for a new role offering expert product training and full support to progress your career to become a highly autonomous Field Service Engineer?

Due to an increase in demand this company are willing to train up a semi-skilled junior mechanic into a fully-fledged service engineer, expanding its team of regional Field Service Engineers covering Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire.

In this role, you will learn by shadowing a Service Engineer and attending on-site training, quickly becoming responsible for reactive and planned maintenance of specialist hydraulic lifting machinery. You will be responsible for managing your own time, attending sites to carry out repairs and upholding the companies reputation.

This company is known for its niche product expertise, priding itself on its extensive overtime incentives including time-and-a-half overtime pay, additional supplements after 8:00 pm, and call-out payments. Over the course of 25 years, they have grown their team to include over 50 employees and due to continued success are looking to expand further.

This role would suit a Junior Service Engineer, time-served Apprentice leaver or from a Plant, Hydraulic, Armed Forces or similar background looking for expert training to become a fully autonomous Field Service Engineer covering the Southeast.

The Role:

• Field Service role covering the South East of England
• Reactive maintenance on lifting platforms
• Document and report all work completed on the client sites
• Monday to Friday 8 am – 5:00 pm + optional overtime

The Person:

• Junior Service Engineer, Time-served apprentice or similar
• Plant, HGV, Hydraulic, Forklift, Lifting Platform or Armed Forces background
• Full Driving License
