Covering a local patch, ideally based in Exeter, Taunton, Chard, Yeovil, Dorchester and surrounding areas
Are you a time served mechanical engineer looking for an entry level service role, working a 4 Day Week, with plenty of training and development, overtime opportunities, a local patch to cover and a clear route to progress technically?
With a time served mechanical apprenticeship or college qualification, you will have the core skills required to develop within this position. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn on the job and gain valuable knowledge of a specialist and growing sector. There is a clear defined route for you to progress to a fully qualified Service Engineer, working on a wide variety of cutting edge machinery for a variety of blue chip Aerospace clients.
This business installs, services and repairs specialist machines and have built a great reputation for the quality of their service. Due to recent growth, they are now looking for a Junior Service Engineer to match the demands of an on-going workload. – Someone that they can invest heavily in, with training, development and progression.
This role would suit an aspiring mechanical engiener who is looking for training on specialist machinery, as well as hydraulics and other technical equipment.
DUTIES
* Carry out servicing on a variety of specialist Aerospacemachinery and equipment
* Training on the job, shadowing senior engineers
* Flexible hours, no weekend work and the option to work a 4 Day Week
PERSON
* Time served apprenticeship in mechanical or college qualifications OR previously worked as a service engineer with mechanical machinery or equipment
* This is a hands on service position – Degree qualified or design / creative Graduates need not apply
