In this role, the successful Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will be supporting the entire process from initial concept, through design, development, manufacture to completion of a variety of products built on site.
This role would suit someone with 12 months + experience as a Design or Mechanical Engineer, well skilled in 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)
The Role:
- Design solutions to customer truck/ trailer orders, within defined timescales and budgets
- Product development/ Innovation/ Research & Development (approx. 20% of time)
- Creation of manufacturing & assembly drawings
The Person:
- 12 months + experience as a Design or Mechanical Engineer
- skilled in 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Local to Peterborough
