In this days-based role you will be performing reactive and planned maintenance on a range of manufacturing machinery, working on gearboxes, sensors, and PLCs for example. Due to ongoing investment in new machinery, you will be involved with installations and commissioning, with continuous training programmes and on the job shadowing to improve your skillset.

This manufacturing company were founded in the 1950’s and boast a turnover of £200 million, with continuous growth throughout their history and a dedicated 10-year plan for expansion.

This role would suit somebody from a hands-on electrical background, either apprentice trained or with work experience, looking to join a large manufacturing company where they can progress into a fully-fledged Engineer.

The Role:

• Reactive and planned maintenance on a large manufacturing site
• Involved with installations and commissioning of new machinery
• Working on gearboxes, sensors, PLCs, bearings and motors
• Ongoing training and development plans
• Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm, finish at 2:30pm Fridays, 40 hours a week
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, Sundays 2x

The Person:

• Junior Electrical Engineer
• Hands-on experience: either apprenticeship or work experience
• Awareness of 3-phase
• Looking to become a Maintenance Engineer
