The company is an award-winning manufacturer of bespoke modular buildings, specializing in offsite construction. You will be responsible for undertaking a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates on a range of cutting edge modular building projects. You will work on multiple projects at a time, delivering proposals to tight deadlines.

The role:

• Take requests for projects, ensuring you fully understand client requirements
• Liaise with the design, teams, interpreting technical drawings and schedules for the manufacture of modular and portable buildings
• Carry out detailed measurement and take-off from tender information
• Understand and apply mark-up / margin and prepare tender return documentation
• Create enquiry packages including detailed scope of works and attendances to meet the clients brief, issue and engage with supply chain and manage the return of information
• Prepare tender evaluation schedules of subcontract tender returns

The person:

• Estimator experience
• Construction background preferred but not essential
