Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking to take the next step in your career, playing a pivotal part within a highly successful family run company who offer plenty of training and encourage personal development?

This well-established business has been operating since 1889 as specialist suppliers in wrought iron components. They boast nine sites UK wide, looking after 300 employees. The small IT team offer support to internal users within the distribution warehouses and sales offices.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the IT Manager with running the helpdesk, mentoring and training staff on systems and software. You will support the inhouse ERP system and e-commerce platforms, developing new systems and processes, preparing and managing hardware deployments. Strong communication skills are essential to ensure that you resolve customers issues efficiently and effectively.

This role would suit an IT Support Engineer with experience in Office 365 suite, supporting MySQL/SQL bespoke database applications, network technology and cloud hosting platforms.

The Role:
* IT Support to internal users
* Running the Helpdesk
* Mentoring / training the team on systems & software

The Person:
* Full UK driving license
* Background in 1st & 2nd line support
* Experience in Office 365, cloud hosting platforms & MySQL/SQL
