On offer, is the exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Manager to join a leading and well-established fire systems company looking to expand their IT department and grow their business over the coming years. Joining a team of highly skilled technicians, engineers, and architects, you will play a key role in the business and it continues to growth and succeed.
In this role, the successful Infrastructure Manager would be responsible for general hardware installation, replacement, and decommissioning, assist with complex incident and changes escalated from the support team as well as ensuring all infrastructure systems and monitored and issues resolved quickly. As a senior member of the team, you will also undertake training as required, providing support and assistance to junior members of the team.
The ideal Infrastructure Manager would ideally have experience working within a similar role, hold and maintain some knowledge of networks, security, virtualisation, storage and migration. Experience with IDS/IPS and SIEM solutions would be useful.
The Role:
- Hardware installation, replacement, decommissioning and migration.
- Assist with complete incidents and changes escalated from support team.
- Work with data migration tools such as Wintel, M365 and MS Azure.
The Person:
- Network, Security, and Infrastructure experience.
- Happy to commute every other week to numerous locations.
