In this role you will be a valued engineer, seen as a partner rather than an employee, working across a number of services and other interfacing Applications and systems within our international markets area of the business, bringing with it variety, knowledge building and collaboration with multi-skilled teams. You will be required to build relationships with UK and international based teams.
This role would suit an IT Deskside Support Engineer or similar looking to have the freedom to be creative and directly contribute to the success of a business with huge global reach.
THE ROLE:
- Ticket triage / categorisation / prioritisation / assignment / escalations.
- User account updates, network share access, account provisioning / termination.
- Software installation by manual, scripted or centrally managed methods.
- Creation of software packages for installation
- Building, maintaining and decommissioning or rebuilding of end points.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to close knowledge gaps and reduce waste.
- Contribute to technical support articles in the knowledge management database.
- Building of hardware and software
THE PERSON:
- Deskside Support or 2nd Line Support Engineer
- Windows desktop operation systems (Windows 10 + 11)
- Provisioning and imaging of end points
- Active Directory administration
- Exchange (on-prem or Office 365)
- Experience working on a Service Desk – providing IT support.
- Experience in working with an ITSM tool (eg: ServiceNow or Jira)
- Experience in working within an ITIL environment.
