Are you an Application Support Engineer looking to work for one of the largest engineering services companies? Do you want to work in security, defence for organisations like the MOD?

On offer is the unique opportunity for a skilled Application Support Engineer to join a leading global engineering services company working on high-tech security projects for organisations such as the MOD. Joining a small but growing team within the newly formed technology centre in Bristol. Working in a fast-paced environment this is a key role within the team and forms a vital role in the future growth plans in Bristol as well as the overall roadmap of the organisation.

In this role, the successful Application Support Engineer will be responsible for carrying out a full range of IT tasks, working as part of a dedicated team focused on the overall infrastructure of the MOD data centre and core applications. The role requires a close working relationship with the overall organisation as well as key stakeholders within the MOD. Additional responsibilities include liaising with Bid Managers and Project Managers on all matters regarding the interfaces and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience working in an IT Support role at 1^st Line level or above. Have a passion for security and want to work within a very secure environment.
