Are you a Buyer or Supply Chain Executive from an Engineering background looking for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding SME who export their advanced special purpose machinery to over 70 countries worldwide?

In this role you will be buying, procuring and managing the supply of low to medium volume procurement of Engineering supplies used to create and prototype bespoke special purpose machinery. You will be negotiating with new and existing suppliers as well as identifying any cost reduction procedures throughout the business.

With plans to expand significantly this company are leading the way in the design, manufacture and sale of their special purpose machinery as they look towards a bright future. This role would suit an Engineering Buyer or Supply Chain professional who has an understanding or background in low-to-medium scale engineering/manufacturing procurement.

The Role:

• Identifying, negotiating and securing cost reduction opportunities
• Managing and improving the existing supply chain cost and delivery
• Analyse bill of materials to identify saving opportunities
• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours with flexitime and half day Fridays

The Person:

• Engineering Buyer, Supply Chain professional or similar
• Engineering or Manufacturing background
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
