Reporting to the Lean Director, the Industrial Engineer is responsible for the creation and management of the companies process timings. The role will also focus on development of accurate workplace sample studies to determine time allocations for the core areas within the production and warehouse operation.

The role will include the development and definition of strategic targets across the organisation giving achievable timescales for project completion.

The role:

• Take ownership of the company’s process time collection and management
• Co-ordinate workplace time sample studies
• Provide accurate performance ratings of operations
• Identify and present ideas for improving operational efficiency
• Conduct feasibility studies on continuous improvement ideas generated from within Production and having agreed the priority and gained necessary sign off, implement those projects.
• Create Value Stream Maps of operational processes
• Work closely with the Lean team to develop and implement of best practices, routines and solutions to improve production rates, Quality and output

The person:

• Engineer with a Proven track record in process timing management
• HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, as a minimum
