£40,000 – £44,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 33 days holiday + pension + career progression + home working

Home based near Newcastle

Are you an experienced HSEQ Advisor with experience in the on-shore or off-shore renewables market looking to progress your career with an exceptional business that operates the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in the UK’s offshore industry in the North Sea?

Are you looking to become immersed as an integral part of the New Build Project Team, that will be responsible for delivering assigned projects in the delivery of high value Capex projects across a range of applications?

On offer is the opportunity to join the team where the main purpose of the role will involve advising, monitoring and supporting QHSE activity as directed by Management.

Responsibilities:

• Attend any vessel or onshore facility as required.
• Carry out in-house training as directed onshore or onboard company vessels
• Carry out general coaching and instruction with regard to HSEQ matters onshore or on board the vessels
• Assist with informal seminars and training workshops for seagoing staff and shore staff, in conjunction with other HSEQ department members
• Assist Management, including vessel officers, with areas of HSEQ responsibility if seen to be lacking
• Facilitate internal and external HSEQ audits as required
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents in accordance with company and legislative requirements, as applicable
• NEBOSH qualified with knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR, COSHH and other associated onshore legislation

The person:

• HSEQ experience with Renewables industry experience
• NEBOSH qualified with knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR, COSHH
