Are you a Health and Safety or Environmental Compliance Manager looking to join an exciting social enterprise, offering a challenging yet rewarding position with plenty of responsibility, autonomy, and to make your mark within a variety of blue-chip companies?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing health, safety and environmental compliance consultancy which are at the forefront of their industry.
In this home-based role you will be responsible for researching and understanding new legislation on behalf of clients and informing them of policy changes in plain English for maximum accessibility. You will also be responsible for assisting 6 junior members of staff, who will need your expertise and guidance at times.
This company leads the way in bringing legal compliance and auditing into the 21st century. Due to their excellent service, they are trusted by major blue-chip clients such as British Airways, PepsiCo, Visa, Royal Mail and SSE.
This role will suit a Health, Safety, Environment Manager, Auditor, Legislation Expert or similar looking for a home-based role offering flexible working hours and full autonomy with occasional visits to a Blackburn-based office for training.
The Role:
- Health, Safety, and Environmental assistance within a range of industries
- Researching and interpreting legal legislation for blue-chip clients
- Aiding in the success of junior staff
- Remote role with occasional travel to a Blackburn based office, flexible working hours
The Person:
- Health & Safety Manager / Officer or similar
- Legal compliance / legislation auditing experience
- ISO 14001 or 45001 knowledge
- IOSH or IEMA membership
