£50,000 – £70,000 + Generous Overtime + Training + Healthcare Plan + Pension


Are you a heavy plant fitter or similar, with any experience in the quarry or mining sectors, looking for a stable role within a highly successful company, which will offer you an excellent salary, generous overtime rates and a fantastic benefits package?

On offer is the opportunity to join a small team working directly within a globally-leading manufacturer which dominates global markets, providing high quality heavy plant equipment to a range of clients. You will be responsible for upholding a high standard of service, completing the daily maintenance of large hydraulic and tracked excavators.

This role would suit an experienced plant fitter looking for a stable, site based Monday – Friday role with no extra travel required, and the opportunity to boost your earnings with excellent overtime rates.

The Role:

  • Diagnose problems, maintain, repair and service tracked excavator
  • Scheduled maintenance and aligned to manufacturer requirements
  • Eliminate preventable plant breakdowns
  • Ensure an effective, safe work system by implementing risk assessment and associated paperwork
  • Compile technical reports

The Person:

  • Heavy Plant Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience working on excavators, and / or quarrying / mining equipment
  • Happy working a 60 hour week (12 hour days)
