On offer, is the exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join a leading and well-established company operating in the entertainment industry looking to expand their IT department and grow their business over the coming years. Leading a department of 2 other IT professionals you will play a key role in the business and it continues to growth and succeed.
In this role, the successful Head of IT would be responsible for people management, company-wide IT strategy, and updating legacy systems as this ticketing company undertakes an entire rewrite of its internal software. As the lead and a senior member of the team, you will also undertake training as required, providing support and assistance to junior members of the team.
The ideal Head of IT would ideally have experience working within a similar role, hold and maintain some knowledge of networks, security, virtualisation, Linux, PostgreSQL, storage and migration.
The Role:
- People management.
- Assist with complete incidents and changes escalated from support team.
- Update legacy systems and plan rework of internal software.
The Person:
- Relevant industry experience in IT.
- Local to Manchester.
- Happy to work 2 days a week in the office.
