Are you a Financial Controller or similar, looking to take the next step-up in your career in a varied and autonomous role, managing the Finance Department of an exciting UK company, with the possibility of turning to a permanent role?
On offer is the opportunity to join a hugely successful and exciting Manufacturing company, who promote an excellent working environment and have a focus on their staff’s wellbeing. This role is a 12 Month contract to provide Maternity Cover for their current senior accountant.
In this role the successful candidate will be working on the preparation of management and financial information as well as preparing budgets, VAT returns and Audit packs. You will also be maintaining the fixed asset register, payroll and assisting in the management of the HR department.
This opportunity would suit a Financial controller or similar, looking to step into a busy, autonomous and varied role, where no two days will be the same. You will get the opportunity to gain valuable management experience as you deal with the moving parts of the business and their requirements.
The Role:
* Preparing Accounts, Financial and Management information
* VAT Returns and Mitrefinch Admin
* Overseeing the Finance Department
The Person:
* Financial Controller or similar
* A professional accounting qualification full or nearly completed – e.g. CIMA,
ACCA or ICAEW.
* Looking for a 12-month contract overseeing an exciting financial department
* Commutable to Moreton-In-Marsh
