On offer is the opportunity to join a trailblazing organisation which supplies into the Ophthalmic industry. You will be responsible for leading the HSEQ function for a brans new R&D / Manufacturing subsidiary, updating and implementing their QMS, managing all aspects of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.

The role:

• Review and update the Health & Safety processes, procedures and site wide regulations, implementing to ensure full adherence
• Review and update QMS system
• Implement SOP’s
• Take responsibility for the entire HSEQ function for site, escalating any issues to the Production Managers and Directors
• Advise Senior Leaders on HSEQ matters for the site
• Maintain the ISO 9001 accreditation

The person:

• Experience managing aspects of QA / QC, H&S and Environmental
• Experience working in a Chemical Manufacturing environment
