Are you an aspiring CAD Designer with 3D SolidWorks experience looking to take the first step in your career and join a market leading Furniture Design company, specialising in the manufacture of bespoke staircases who offer full product specific training as well as progression to senior roles and overtime opportunities to increase your earnings?

This company manufacture bespoke fitted furniture working with a range of blue-chip companies across the UK. Since their establishment in 1983, they have gone from strength to strength now employing over 500 people across 3 different locations. They are now looking to expand their design team to keep up with increased demand.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will receive full product specific training on all company products working together with Senior Designers as you create 3D client & technical drawings, cut lists and bill of materials using SolidWorks as you liaise with the production team to ensure designs are accurately manufactured in a timely manner. This is a Monday to Friday office based role with the option to go hybrid after your probation.

This job would suit an aspiring CAD Technician with strong 3D SolidWorks experience looking for a varied and exciting role within a market leading company where you will directly impact design implementations as well as the opportunity for swift progression to senior roles and occasional overtime to increase your earnings.

The Role:

• Full product specific training provided alongside Senior Designers
• Creating 3D technical drawings and client models using SolidWorks
• Produce cut list and bill of materials as you liaise with the Production team to ensure the smooth manufacturing of bespoke furniture
• Offering advice and conferring directly with customers over design implementation
• Monday to Friday – 8am – 4:30pm.

The Person:

• Aspiring CAD Technician
• Graduate Interior Designer / Architect or similar
• Proficient in SolidWorks – 3D technical drawings
• Commutable to Manchester
