Are you an aspiring Electronic Systems Design Engineer with a strong background in Hardware / Firmware design looking to join a well-established and exciting company specialising in design solutions for new digital camera systems who can offer further training, the opportunity for swift progression and an annual bonus to increase your earnings?
This company specialise in providing innovative CCD and CMOS based solutions for challenging image applications working with a range of blue-chip clients from the Science / Space industry. Since their establishment over 25 years ago they have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to expand their Design team to keep up with increased demand.
In this varied role you will be working on developing cutting edge imaging technology working on projects from start to finish. The role will include all aspects of system design from initial concept, through to design, build and test as you work both autonomously and collaboratively within a tight-knit team of 3, designing High Speed Digital components such as Microprocessors and FPGAs as well as contributing to low level Embedded Software design and in house prototyping / bench testing of PCBs and circuits. This a Monday to Friday, office based role with no hybrid working included.
This role would suit an aspiring Electronic Systems Design Engineer or similar looking to join a company at the forefront of cutting edge imaging solutions who can offer training to expand industry knowledge, autonomy to be directly involved in design implementations as well as an annual bonus to increase earnings.
The Role:
- Training provided to increase industry knowledge
- High Speed Digital Design of components such as CCD / CMOS sensors and Microprocessors
- Firmware design for Xilinx Artix A7 and Polarfire FPGAs
- Liaising with other departments and contributing to Embedded Software design
- Prototyping and bench testing PCBs and circuits
The Person:
- PhD or Masters Degree in Electronics or similar
- Practical experience in a Design Engineering role
- Commutable to Northampton
