Are you a Finance Manager or Director, looking for a blended role, leading on financial strategy for a multi-faceted organisation which provides specialist engineering services within Geotechnical Engineering, Construction and Renewables, where you will directly add value to a rapidly growing business which forms part of a globally leading group, whilst benefitting from a versatile role?

Are you looking to provide financial directorship for a highly successful consultancy, where you will report directly to the group, with a high degree of responsibility, whilst benefitting from a great working culture which encourages ongoing training, development and progression, where you will be in an integral role, with a maxture of ‘hands-on’ and corporate financial management?

On offer is the opportunity to join a dynamic business which provides specialist access for the most complex and challenging civil and structural engineering projects across the UK, working with clients such as Network Rail, Arsenal Football Club, and the Houses of Parliament.

You will be responsible for overseeing financial management for a multi-faceted consultancy, reporting to the wider group on the overall financial performance of the company, as well as developing new company strategy across all areas of the business, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.

The role:

• Be the first point of contact between the Group and the consultancy on all finance related matters
• Manage reporting, payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control functions
• Provide leadership to the Board’s finance strategy to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic positioning; analyzing direct competitors, forecasting, and understanding the relevant regulatory requirements
• Report to the board and the group on the financial performance of the company including forecasting and identification of developing risks

The person:

• Experience in a Finance Manager or Director role
• Background in Construction / Civil Engineering
