Are you a Finance Manager or Director, seeking a pivotal role, for a highly successful company, with a turnover of £300 million, providing specialist services within Geotechnical, Civil, Structural and Renewable Engineering, acting independently with the backing of a globally leading group, where you will lead on Financial strategy, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility within your role?

On offer is the opportunity to join a dynamic business which provides specialist access for the most complex and challenging civil and structural engineering projects across the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing financial management for a multi-faceted consultancy, reporting to the wider group on the overall financial performance of the company, as well s developing new company strategy across all areas of the business, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.

The role:

• Be the first point of contact between the Group and the consultancy on all finance related matters
• Manage reporting, payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control functions
• Provide leadership to the Board’s finance strategy to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic positioning
• Report to the board and the group on the financial performance of the company including forecasting and identification of developing risks

The person:

• Experience in a Finance Manager or Director role
• Any experience within the construction contracting industry, or Civil Engineering, or similar
