The responsibilities entail collaborating across teams to define automation needs, analyze processes for efficiency gains, and developing automation systems. There will be team-driven exploration of automation needs, dissecting processes for efficiency gains, and intricate development of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. This involves meticulous programming, refining electrical panels, and seamless integration of motion control. Additionally, it includes crafting user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) applications, configuring SCADA systems, deciphering electrical schematics, and aligning industrial communication protocols for cohesive automation functionality.
This role would suit a Service / Automation Engineer with a background in PLCs looking for a varied role, with plenty of autonomy and growth.
* Collaborate across teams to define automation requirements, analyze processes, and identify efficiency opportunities. * Provide technical support, diagnose, and resolve control-related issues for operations and maintenance teams. * Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems, write, test, and debug programs, optimize electrical control panels, and integrate motion control seamlessly.
