Are you an Estimator from a Construction / Steel or similar background looking for a challenging technical role within a specialist Fabricator who pride themselves on their long term staff retention and provide progression opportunities across the company?
This company are a specialist Steel Fabricator who work with a broad range of clients nationwide ranging from major contractors to bespoke consultancies. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their Estimation team.
This is an autonomous role where you will work closely with the Sales team to generate estimates and undertake a range of office responsibilities for bespoke projects ranging from £30k-£3m. You will undertake occasional site visitation but primarily work within the office to quantify steel work from engineering drawings in addition to providing support for the construction and production departments in addition to assisting clients.
This role would suit an Estimator from a Construction / Steel background looking for an exciting technical challenge within an award-winning and specialist Steel Fabricator providing a bonus to increase your earnings and the opportunity to continually upskill yourself.
The Role:
- Initial tender appraisal / completion of check lists
- Quantifying steel work from engineering drawings
- Reviewing details and establishing pricing
- Support for bespoke projects- running between £30k-£3m
- Liaising closely with the sales director, construction, production and clients
