Are you from an Electronics background, looking to advance your career with a global company renowned for providing high-end solutions to OEM’s such as Siemens, Samsung, and Airbus? Do you have experience with LEAN Manufacturing, looking for a highly autonomous role where you will receive mentorship from the Engineering Manager, whilst directly adding value to a multi-faceted organisation which provides specialist, complex electronics and system assemblies to a diverse range of sectors including Automotive and Aerospace?
On offer is the opportunity for someone with any Electronics experience to move into a specialist role with a well-established firm, who promote progression and have no problem rewarding technical development.
You will be involved in the design, development, and coordination of new assembly projects with an emphasis on quality assurance. You will be working on bleeding edge technology; assisting with the development of prototypes, with the ability to continuously improve products and processes.
The role:
- Liaise closely with clients to ensure accuracy of the build data and troubleshoot any build issues.
- Work on a range of prototype electronic assembly projects from conception to completion.
- Manage and co-ordinate technical support for the introduction of new assembly projects.
- Help create and design SOP’s for the production team.
- Create work instructions for PCBA’s and box build assemblies.
- Implement process improvements.
The person:
- Background in electronics engineering/manufacturing
- Any experience with LEAN Manufacturing
- Any experience with Surface Mount Machinery / Technology
