Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer from a FMCG or Industrial background, looking to work a 3-shift pattern where you can boost your earnings through overtime and callouts, within a company who are looking to double in size over the next two years providing fast progression into a supervisor role?
The company was established over 40 years ago and is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plain and printed flexible films. They have experience in Extrusion, Print, Lamination, Origination and Conversion. Their vision is to be the number one integrated extrusion & flexible packaging manufacturer in the UK.
Your role will involve you being part of the maintenance team undergoing PPM and reactive repairs to the production equipment. After probation you will work a lot more autonomously and without a team. You will read electrical drawings and fault find down to a component level. There is a 3-shift pattern (6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm and 10pm till 6am) and 1 in 3 weekends you will be on call out which will provide you with £100 extra and a call out fee if you are called out, as well as being paid for a minimum of 2 hours.
This role would suit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to work shifts and take advantage of 1 in 3 weekend callouts and overtime to boost earning, while quickly progressing to a supervisor position, inside a leading manufacture that has huge growth plans.
The role
* Electrical repairs on production machinery
* Basic mechanical repairs
* 3-Shirft rotation and 1 in 3 weekend call out rota
The person
* Electrical bias with basic mechanical knowledge
* Able to read electrical drawings and fault find down toa component level
* FMCG or Industrial background
