Are you a Electrical Engineer or similar, with experience working on vessels looking to join a successful business, trading for over 100 years, who are renowned within their industry for providing ongoing, extensive training?

This role will involve reading and interpreting scaled technical drawings, installing, testing, and inspecting electrical circuits and components, managing power generation with AC and DC circuits, fit cable management systems, run cable looms on boats, and report and resolve safety, quality, and resource issues in collaboration with management.

This role can involve some working away including Offshore and across the UK but this is occasional and will be an opportunity to massively boost your earnings.

This company are a leading engineering service provider, specializing in maintaining and upgrading electrical and mechanical equipment for power generation, marine, and industrial sectors. This role would suit an Electrical Engineer or similar, with experience working on a vessel, wanting to join a business where they will have a varied role, alongside the opportunity to undergo extra courses, training and progression, whilst also boosting their earnings.

The Role

  • Read and understand technical drawing
  • Various maintenance, servicing and installation work on circuits and components
  • Working on docked vessels
  • Monday – Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm

  • Electrical Engineer or similar
  • Experience working on vessels
  • Commutable to Aberdeen
