Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer from the Energy, Oil & Gas or Renewables sector looking for an off-the-tools role where you will be responsible for delivering high-stakes projects for a global leader in power generation?
In this role you will be responsible for early stage project development of power generation and storage technology. You will be signing off contractors work, delivering technical feasibility studies, creating technical specifications and taking a position of a technical lead for wide variety of Engineering projects, covering renewable energy, HV distribution networks, LV Electrical installations and energy storage.
This multinational company design and build power generation and storage technology across the UK and Europe. They are responsible for generating over 20GW of power across Europe and are looking to increase the UK’s capacity significantly over the next 10 years, having sustainability at the heart of their business.
This role would suit an Electrical Engineer who is looking for a role with high autonomy and responsibility, liaising with stakeholders and reviewing designs and proposals, offering progression to senior positions and remote working.
The Role:
- Early stage development for power generation and storage projects
- Creating specifications and reviewing proposals for the design team
- Reviewing external contractors work in line with company expectations
- Working from home as part of a closely-knit team of technical specialists
- Travel to Nottingham once a fortnight for team meetings
The Person:
- Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer
- Power Generation or Energy Industry background
