Do you have a background in Electrical Design, looking to be a key member of a small team tasked with delivering considered estimates and delivering successful projects throughout the UK?
Would you like a varied and diverse role in specialist electrical contracting, with niche capabilities for energy reduction and optimisation for manufacturing, where you will have the ability to continually upskill and develop?

The company have been established for over 30 years, operating as an Industrial Commissioning Contractor, working on major commercial projects across the UK. They specialise in Energy optimization and reduction for industrial and manufacturing environments.
You will be responsible for working throughout the project life cycle, working from concept to completion. Liaising closely with clients, ensuring you fully understand their requirements, then producing an estimate, and managing the design process, you will work on a range of design and build projects, up to £1 million in value.
The role:
- Work on a range of projects from small works up to £1 million in value
- Liaise with clients to understand specific requirements to develop estimates and designs for electrical systems within manufacturing environments (inclusive of lighting systems, motors, drives and voltage optimization)
- Prepare estimates for pre-designed and design and build projects
- Create designs for a range of electrical equipment
- Attend pre-tender, post-tender and site meetings with clients
- Act as a project manager, following up after pre-order meetings and ensuring the process runs smoothly
The person:
- Background in Electrical Design
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally knowledge of power distribution
- Happy travelling to client sites, with some overnight stays
