Are you a Electrical Design Manager or similar with a background in Defence / Aerospace / Marine technology or similar looking to take on the challenge of leading a team designing electrical systems for naval ships and submarines, looking to work within an industry leading business that can provide industry training and the opportunity to work on the latest in Marine technology?

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestige business founded over 100 years ago that specialise in the design of electrical control and instrumental systems for naval ships and submarines commissioned for cliental such as the British Royal Navy.

In this role you will be taking lead for a small team of electrical design engineers taking on projects from start to end, manging the teams work load and ensuring work complies with industry and legislative standards along with internal reviews. You will also need to liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and other internal teams to manage work flow.

This position would suit an Electrical Design Manager or similar with a background in Defence / Aerospace / Marine technology or similar looking to take a step up into the management of important projects for clients such as the British Royal Navy, looking to progress their career by working on the future of marine technology.

The Role

• Take charge of a team of electrical engineers
• Oversee projects from conceptualisation to implementation
• Liaise with clients and internal departments
• Lead design review meetings

• Electrical Design Manager or similar
• Background in Defence / Aerospace / Marine technology or similar
• Commutable to Birmingham
