The company are a market leading manufacturer and installation specialist, offering a complete 360° service to their clients, from design, construction, fit out, mechanical and electrical design and installation of electrical control systems. They require a design engineer to help lead their process.

The successful candidate will use the latest technology to help visualise the client’s concept, producing wiring diagrams and technical drawings for power distribution and control products

The Role:

• Design LVD Power Distribution & Control Products using AutoCAD LT
• Create and approve electrical, control schematics and general arrangement drawings
• Prove, build, and test design concepts, and analyze performance and test data
• Perform electrical calculations, size conductor and busbar systems, and select components
• Write technical reports and approve Bills of Materials
• Troubleshoot systems and collaborate with other engineers and the production department
• Ensure that all technical documentation and drawings meet relevant standards and are approved

The Person:

• Proficient in AutoCAD LT and other design software
• Experience in electrical design for power distribution and control products
